2K Games Hints At New BioShock Game Through Cryptic Reply



A sequel that players are desperately waiting on is 2K’s immensely popular first-person franchise BioShock. The last game, BioShock Infinite, which came out in 2013 took the whole gaming community by storm thanks to its bustling world, intriguing characters and a spectacular storyline. Since then players, are hoping for an announcement on the next instalment to the series, but haven’t received any good news yet. However, 2K Games has recently hinted that it might already be in development.

New BioShock seemingly confirmed
2K Games recently took to X, to reveal that it was BioShock Infinite’s 11th anniversary on March 26. On the same post, one of the fans asked 2K whether the next BioShock instalment is in the work, to which 2K replied with a chef emoji. It is speculated that 2K Games are trying to say that they are cooking up something for the next title in a cryptic fashion. However, we can’t say for sure until this has been officially confirmed by them.

At the moment, there are no details about BioShock 4, but we do know what game creator for the original BioShock series, Ken Levine is working on. The name of the game is Judas, and it is also a first-person shooter/ adventure like BioShock, but takes place in a disintegrating starship. You play the role of Judas and your job is to either make or break alliances with some of your worst enemies to survive. The game is being developed by Ghost Story Games and is scheduled to release in March 2025.
